Kansas led the rushing attack on the day
with 390 yards compared to Tech’s 63 yards, but in the air the Red Raiders
passed for 508 yards while the Jayhawks produced just 29 yards in the air
Seth Doege (TTU) finished going 45-for-59
for 476 yards for three touchdowns; Micha Cummings (KU) finished going 6-for-15
for just 29 yards and two touchdowns
Doege moved past Taylor Potts into third place
on the schools all-time career passing touchdown list, Doege has 64 career
touchdown passes
Became the first Red Raider since Graham Harrell in 2008 to pass for 300 or more yards in five consecutive Big 12 games
On the ground, Kenny Williams (TTU) led the
way for the Red Raiders with 41 yards on nine carries, the Tony Pierson (KU)
tore it up for 202 yards on 16 carries including a 69-yard dash
Eric Ward (TTU) was the top target for
Doege again as he connected with him 12 times for 180 yards, Kansas’ top wide
out was Brando Bourbon and he had one catch for 10 yards.

The Red Raiders now hit the road for the
rest of the season traveling to Oklahoma State next weekend to take on the
Cowboys. Then following the matchup with the Cowboys, Tech travels to Jerryland
aka Cowboys Stadium to take on the Baylor Bears
