Echols-Luper no longer committed

Cameron Echols-Luper has decided that Texas A&M is not the school for him. He was committed to the Aggies, but he does not like the number of commitments they have at his position in this class.

"I have de-committed from Texas A&M," Cameron Echols-Luper told Scout. "They just have too many receiver commitments and I did not want to get lost in the numbers of the depth chart.

"I did not want to redshirt or move to defense either and I think they may have been thinking about that."

Echols-Luper may not be committed to A&M any longer, but the odds of him ending up in Texas appear to still be high.

"I am looking at Texas Christian, Texas Tech, and Texas now. I will take an official visit to TCU this weekend, then Texas Tech next weekend. I do not have one set up with Texas yet."

The 5-foot-11, 185 pound athlete out of Auburn, Ala. played quarterback in high school, but he wants to play wide receiver in college.
