Georgia Linebacker Signs with Texas Tech

Another defensive lineman from Georgia has signed his NLI with Texas Tech.

Another defensive player has chosen to wear the red and black, Zach Barnes has sent in his National Letter of Intent to Texas Tech this morning.

 

Barnes played linebacker and outside lineback at Grayson High school, and is a native of Loganville, Georgia.

 

Barnes drew interest from Indiana, Southern Miss, Tennessee and Texas Tech.

 

According to Scout.com, Barnes received offers from all four schools, but the only school that Barnes was interested in was Texas Tech.

 

Barnes comes in at 6-foot 3-inches at 225 pounds and is listed as a defensive end, and is ranked as the 149th best defensive end on the 2013 Scout.com high school football rankings.

 

Barnes is rated as a two-star recruit according to Scout.com.
