Team USA Rolls Into Meeting with Russia

Luke Adams has contributed good minutes and points to TEAM USA's 3-0 start at the 22nd Deaflympics in Bulgaria.

Team USA is off to a 3-0 start at the 22nd Deaflympics in Sofia, Bulgaria and Texas Tech junior guard Luke Adams has played a key role in that success.


So far Team USA has beaten Slovenia, Kenya and Australia with their biggest victory coming against Kenya winning 112-24.


Adams has started in each of the first three games with his best game coming against Slovenia scoring 11 points and grabbing five steals as well. Against Australia Adams contributed five assists.


Next challenge for Adams and Team USA is Russia on Tuesday morning. Russia enters the game 3-0 as well in pool play.


If Team USA defeats Russia, they will be 4-0, have won Group B and will go into the elimination rounds as the No. 1 seed.
