Texas Tech jumped four spots to No. 16 in the AP Top 25 poll and climbed to No. 15 in both the USA Today Coaches and Harris polls.

The Red Raiders took advantage of several upsets ahead of them and are now one of 13 remaining undefeated ranked teams in the country, joining Big 12 rival Baylor, who checks in at No. 13 in the AP poll. The Bears made school history by being the highest ranked Big 12 football team for the first time.

No. 17 Oklahoma dropped six spots after losing to Red River rival Texas. No. 19 Oklahoma State jumped back in the top 25 despite being idle.

The Longhorns received a lot of votes in all three polls but didn't crack the top 25 in any of them.
