Texas Tech coach Kliff Kingsbury agreed to an extension which will keep him in Lubbock through 2020.

Texas Tech announced it reached an agreement with Kliff Kingsbury, one of the youngest head football coaches in the FBS, to extend his contract through 2020.

The deal, which was announced Friday afternoon, extends Kingsbury's original contract by three seasons. The 35-year-old Kingsbury is due to make $3.1 million in 2015 with a $200,000 raise each year over the course of the contract, making him the fourth highest paid head coach in the Big 12 behind Oklahoma's Bob Stoops, Baylor's Art Briles and Texas' Charlie Strong.
