The Red Raiders Pull In Another
"I actually committed to Texas Tech this weekend on my visit," Broderick Marshall said. "I took a visit to Missouri about a month ago and almost didn't take a visit to Tech and committed to Missouri, but my mom told me I should take it and see what is out there." The 6-foot-4, 275-pound Marshall runs the 40-yard dash in 5.2 seconds. "It was just an all-around good place for me. I really liked Lubbock a lot and I had a lot in common with a lot of the guys on the team, I felt like I fit in. It was a nice environment out there." While Marshall is excited about his decision it will be tough to tell others no. "I'm going to hate making that call to Missouri, because I really like their coaches and everything. I felt like I should stay in state and this going to be a lot easier on my mom too." Marshall says he will not be taking any more visits. "I wanted to make sure that I was going to be happy for the next four years of my life and in Lubbock I know that I will be."
