How solid is Tech's first verbal committment?

The Red Raiders picked up their first commitment of the 2007 class from Tramain Swindall out of Millwood HS in Oklahoma. Is he still solid to the red and black?

Texas Tech was one of the first schools to offer Tramain Swindall and picked up a commitment from him back on April 3rd. As the word spreads about his abilities, it is a given that he will be a hot commodity in the recruiting scene.

Even though Swindall is committed to the Red Raiders, that hasn't stopped other schools from pursuing the 6'2 170 pound receiver.

"Recently Arkansas, Oklahoma State, Hawaii, and Nebraska have started coming after me pretty hard," said Swindall. "All three have told me that they are going to offer."

With the recent attention Tramain has been getting from these other schools, is he still solid to Texas Tech?

"I went to the K-State spring game this past weekend, but Tech is still my solid #1. I will be visiting some of these schools in the summer though, to compare them to Tech."

RaiderPower.com also uploaded video of Swindall earlier this week. In case you missed it, here they are:
