College Basketball Experience field announced

The Red Raider mens basketball team will be playing in the College Basketball Experience tournament at the beginning of the 2006-07 season. The pairings have finally been announced, with Lubbock, TX being one of the regional sites.

The team pairings for the College Basketball Experience (CBE) Classic are set.

The four host schools in the CBE Classic will be Duke, Marquette, Stanford, and Texas Tech.  The other 14 teams participating are Air Force, Akron, Arkansas-Little Rock, Columbia, Detroit, Gardner-Webb, Georgia Southern, Idaho State, Long Beach State, Maine, UC Davis, and San Jose State. 

In the Lubbock Regional, beginning on November 13^th, Arkansas-Little Rock will face Akron at 7:00pm followed by Texas Tech vs. Gardner-Webb at 9:00pm.  On November 14^th, the Regional Consolidation Game will begin at 7:00pm and the Regional Championship game will be next at 9:00PM.

The Regional Rounds of the CBE Classic will be played from November 12^th – 15^th.  The winner of each region will advance to the Championship Rounds at Municipal Auditorium in Kansas City, Missouri on November 20^th and 21^st.  The game dates, locations, and match-ups are listed below:
