After only 4 months as the offensive line coach for Texas Tech, Coach Jack Bicknell has decided to leave the program and head back to his alma mater, Boston College.

Coach Bicknell has accepted the position of assistant head coach for the Eagles.

"I'm very excited about the opportunity to come home and coach at my alma mater," Bicknell said in a statement released by the Boston College athletic department. "BC has a tremendous reputation for producing outstanding offensive linemen. I'm looking forward to working with Coach Jagodzinski in building upon a great tradition."

As for finding a replacement for Coach Bicknell, the Red Raider coaching staff will be crunched for time with Spring Practice complete and Fall Practice only 3 months away.
