Big time visitor this weekend!!!

RaiderPower has confirmed that one of the nation's top junior college defensive ends will be attending Texas Tech's game against Northwestern State this Saturday. Come inside to get the details on who will be in town and how his current coach thinks he would fit into the Red Raider defense.

The Red Raiders have been shuffling in new players at the rush end position throughout the 2007 season, but that may not be the case if Brandon Sesay, a junior college defensive end from the College of the Sequoias, enjoys his time in Lubbock this weekend.

Sesay will be taking an official visit to Lubbock to view the campus and to watch Texas Tech take on Northwestern State. The 6'6, 270 pound prospect has over 70 scholarship offers from the likes of Florida, LSU, Miami, and Oklahoma, but there is one school he really likes.

"He's very, very high on Tech," said College of the Sequoias assistant coach Andy Seigel. "He talks about them all the time. That's all he talks about."

Sesay originally committed to Georgia out of high school, but ended up not qualifying. He ended up at the College of the Sequoias and has turned things around. He is expected to graduate in December and would make an instant impact at Texas Tech.

"He's a very fast speed rusher. He is a fiery competitor and gets the people around him excited to play. The words I always use to describe him are high emotion. He plays with tremendous emotion."

Mike Leach and the other Texas Tech coaches are no strangers to the College of the Sequoias coaching staff. They have a great relationship which could end up being very beneficial to landing the 4 star prospect.

"I have known Mike Leach for nearly 20 years now. When I was the head coach at Key West, Leach and Dana Holgorsen spent a weekend down here for a coaching clinic. I called them and told about Sesay and they were very interested."

Stay tuned to RaiderPower as we catch up with Sesay after his visit to give you his thoughts on becoming a Red Raider.
