| Tech currently has 3 scholarship quarterbacks on roster in Graham Harrell, Taylor Potts, and Stefan Loucks. Seth Doege was Tech's #1 choice for QB in the class of 2008 and he is as solid of a commitment as you can get. This position is locked up and the Red Raiders are looking at the class of 2009 for their next QB. | ||||||

| The Red Raiders already have a commitment from the top running back in the state of Oklahoma in Harrison Jeffers. They may end up taking one more RB in this class, but again, only if it's from one of the few backs at the top of their list. Jeffers is the star of this class and the Tech staff will be thrilled to sign him and only him. | ||||||

| Coach Leach and Co. have never had problems bringing in talented wide receivers with the high flying passing attack that they employ. This year is no different with several of the top receivers in the country listing Tech among their early favorites. After taking five receivers in the class of 2007, look for the Red Raiders to bring in only 2 in the class of '08. | ||||||

| The Red Raiders signed a tremendous offensive line class last year, highlighted by guard Lonnie Edwards and tackles Jerrod Gooch and Mickey Okafor. In total Texas Tech inked 7 offensive linemen, leaving only a small need for the class of 2008. Look for the Red Raiders to take between 2-4 linemen in the upcoming class. With the commitments of Gallington, McDaniel, and Lott, Tech could be done with offensive lineman in this class. | ||||||
