LUBBOCK, Texas – It seemed like a lid was on the basket as the University of Kansas men’s basketball team shot a season-low 33.3 percent from floor and fell 84-65 to Texas Tech Wednesday night in front of 9,883 fans at United Spirit Arena. The #24 Texas Longhorns overcame a sluggish start and survived a late first half run against the Texas Tech Red Raiders on Wednesday before earning a hard fought victory at the free throw line 87-81.
