2007: Slaughter missed most of his senior season after an ACL injury in the second game of the season. He was a force in those first two games recording 25 tackles and two sacks.
Slaughter was rated as the No.22 middle linebacker in the nation by Scout.com, named to the pre-season Touchdown Club All-Greater Houston team and named to the National Society of High School Scholars.
2006: Slaughter set the record for tackles for his high school squad recording 124 tackles including 11 for loss and five sacks. He also added an interception and recovered two fumbles.
He was named All-Heartland first team and second team All-District as a junior.
2005: Slaughter played in four games during his sophomore season and had 58 tackles, one fumble recovery and one interception. He was named honorable mention All-District as a sophomore.
